About the Author

I am John Lage, Jr. and am married to Janice Marie Lage. We celebrated 12 years of marriage in June 2010. We have a son and his family in Florida – Jeremy, Leanna and granddaughter, Alyssa, as well as an 11 year son, John, here at home. We reside in Rochester, MN where I work in Information Technology for Mayo Clinic. We attend Christ United Methodist Church where we are active in several programs including the music ministry. I am a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Chuch. Most of my writing is done for this website and eventually appears here. I am willing to speak to churches, church groups and other organizations about my spiritual history. My life experiences include an extended period of alcohol abuse. God has helped me through those times and I’m convinced that God wants me to tell others of my story as you know if you’ve read my spiritual journey.
